Speaking at a press conference in the capital, Shekhar Golchha, managing director, HIM Electronics, said the 32-inch Series 6 LED TV and 40-inch Series 7 LED TV would be sold at an introductory price of Rs 129,900 and Rs 229,900 respectively.
Samsung LED TVs are 2.99 cm thick and also come with an ´ultra-slim´ wall mount which will bring the distance between the wall and the front screen to just 4.5 cm.
“A Samsung LED TV will look like a picture frame or painting on the wall,” Golchha said.
According to Samsung, the LED TVs not only consumes up to 40 percent less power than a similar sized ´traditional´ LCD TV but will also produce better pictures as it produces brighter images with deeper black colors and better contrast plus wider color range.
These LED TVs also have a USB connection to connect and play content from pen drives, cameras and other devices with USB connection. Anynet+ allows users to control all Samsung devices through the television´s single remote. The TVs have SRS TruSound technology. Series 7 and above LED TVs also have a built-in Content Library Flash, which allows people to download, save and play content like games, cooking, yoga and fitness instruction videos, among others.
The higher series TVs also have DLNA wireless which allows it to directly interact with other devices with the same technology.
HIM Electronics is offering these new products at zero percent interest after a down payment of 20 percent for a year.
