Samsung Galaxy J2 gets a facelift

KATHMANDU, July 18: Samsung on Monday launched Galaxy J2 2016 -- an upgraded version of Galaxy J2 launched last year -- with two new innovations namely Turbo Speed Technology (TST) and Smart Glow.

KATHMANDU, July 18: Samsung on Monday launched Galaxy J2 2016 -- an upgraded version of Galaxy J2 launched last year -- with two new innovations namely Turbo Speed Technology (TST) and Smart Glow.



Issuing a statement, Samsung said that the new edition of Galaxy J2 has been re-engineered, re-designed and re-loaded with new features.



According to the company, TST is a revolutionary innovation of Samsung that results to superior device performance. "With this feature, users can load native apps up to 40 percent faster than devices with double RAM," Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, head of HHP Division at Samsung Nepal, said.



Similarly, the Smart Glow technology is a next-generation color LED notification system for the convenience of users. "We are always looking for ways to enhance user experience and drive consumer delight," he said, adding that with TST, Samsung engineers have made a breakthrough in optimizing the operating system and hardware to provide best-in-class performance. "Similarly, Smart Glow notification system has a wide-range of utility benefit.”



The Galaxy J2 2016 has 5-inch HD Super Amoled screen and is powered by 1.5 GHz Quad Core processor and 1.5 GB RAM. The phone has 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front shooter.



The Galaxy J2 2016 is available at Rs 15,900.
