Rupy’s International School announced ‘High School 3X3 Basketball Tournament’ in a press meet organized on September, 10 at school premises, Bafal.
Rosebud basketball begins today
It was informed that the tournament is scheduled from September 16 to 19 at Rupy’s Basketball court. Meanwhile, the tournament has two categories– boys and girls. Schools and colleges inside the valley are participating in the same. A total number of 12 boys and six girls’ teams are going to participate in this tournament.
The Title sponsor for the tournament is “Study Plus”. Likewise, other partners are Qatar Embassy, Mahindra-agni group, Mero Kicks, Soaltee Crown Plaza, Nepal Investment Bank Pvt Lt, Dwarika, U.F.O and Vayodha Hospital.
Organizers have announced trophies and cash prize for the winners and runner up. Winning team will receive Rs 20,000 and a trophy each and Runners Up will get Rs 15,000 plus a trophy.
Likewise, other prizes for various categories are: “Merokicks MVP” for the best player of the tournament; Highest Scorer Award; Best Coach Award etc.
Then, Man of the Match will be given for every match during the knock out stage. The tie-sheet draw for the tournament will be drawn on Friday.
