Rupandehi Challengers’ captain veteran Shakti Gauchan said that his team has no alternative than playing good cricket. “We are in crucial moment after losing the first qualifier match against Biratnagar Kings. We have to play good cricket and seal the victory if we want to go nearer to the title,” said Gauchan.
“Despite Chauraha’s early poor form in the tournament, their team is quite strong studded with talented players. So we have to be careful when we meet them again,” said Gauchan.
“Given the three straight defeats in the first three matches of the league round, we took all the remaining matches as finals and now we are here. We want to reach final but we have to overcome Rupandehi Challengers and that match is do or die for us,” said Khadka who is also national team skipper.
“We are enjoying good form lately and we want to replicate it on Thursday as well. Rupandehi Challengers is very strong team with top quality players so we have to give our best in order to make it to the finals,” he added.
Chauraha’s skipper Khadka also said that he is not worried about the toss. “We are ready in both bowling and batting aspects so we are not really worried about toss. We have ability to pull victory by setting the target or fielding first,” further added Khadka.
