KATHMANDU, Feb 3: CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) leader CP Gajurel has said that the ruling coalition is on the verge of breaking up due to the US aid project- Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement.
Gajurel said that the ruling coalition is now in a state of disintegration due to MCC. Speaking at an event organized by the party-affiliated student organization ANNISU-WU (Revolutionary) in Kathmandu on Wednesday, he claimed that the three main organs of the state - the executive, the judiciary and the legislature - had failed.
He said that the country's economy was on the verge of collapse, adding that there was no alternative for the communist revolutionaries to move forward with cooperation to get the country out of this crisis. Leader Gajurel said that there was no possibility of his party uniting with CPN (Maoist Center) led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
