CHITWAN, Nov 20: The depositors of Sahara Chitwan Multipurpose Cooperative Limited in Chitwan have lodged a complaint with the police against the Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane and former DIG Chhabilal Joshi, along with eight others.
The victims of the cooperative filed the fraud case at the District Police Office, Chitwan, on Wednesday naming Lamichhane and Joshi as key accused, among a total of 10 individuals involved in embezzling funds. Shalikram Dawadi, the chairman of the victims' association, confirmed that the complaint includes these two prominent figures.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Gautam Mishra of the District Police Office Chitwan said that a supplementary investigation is underway.
"The cooperative victims have submitted their complaints, and additional inquiries are being conducted," he said.
Previously, a case had been registered against 17 individuals, including GB Rai, in connection with the embezzlement of funds from Sahara Cooperative.
