Rs 30 million released for people's housing program in Jhapa

JHAPA, Dec 8: A total of Rs 30 million has been released for the people's housing program that started in Jhapa this year. Under the program launched by the government, new houses are built for impoverished people.

JHAPA, Dec 8: A total of Rs 30 million has been released for the people's housing program that started in Jhapa this year. Under the program launched by the government, new houses are built for impoverished people. 


The program has been launched in Jhapa as per the decision of the Ministry of Urban Development and the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (UDBC), said Suman Kumar Mishra, engineer for the Bhadrapur-based office of the UDBC. 


Under this program, new houses will be built for the poorest 500 families of Jhapa from Dalit, Muslim and ultra marginalized communities in this running fiscal year and for that a team has been formed under the leadership of lawmaker Amrit Lal Rajbamshi, he said. 


The team includes lawmakers Dipak Karki and Bhakta Bahadur Bishwokarma. RSS
