BUTWAL, Nov 23: Dhruva Bahadur Pradhan of Rastriya Prajatantra Party is leading the vote count with a wide margin of votes in Constituency-2 of Nawalparasi (West).
By the time counting of 42,000 votes concluded, the RPP candidate secured 14,699 votes to widen the gap against his nearest rival by almost double. Devendraraj Kandel of Nepali Congress is a distant second with 7,367 votes.

Dipendra Kumar Adhikari of CPN-UML is trailing behind in the third position with 7,007 votes. Chief Returning Officer Khadanand Tiwari said that 88,155 votes were cast in this constituency.
