KATHMANDU, Aug 6: A merger process between the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Nepal) is meeting on August 9.
The chairpersons of both the parties today stated their respective parties' readiness for the unification and signed a memorandum of understanding to this effect. The RPP-N is the fourth largest party in the parliament having 25 lawmakers while RPP is the seventh largest party having 12 lawmakers.
RPP-Nepal spokesperson Rajaram Shrestha shared that a unified party would take the decision regarding whether to join the government or not after 15 days of unification by holding a meeting. RSS
