The RPP demonstration has affected the ongoing protest by teachers. Teachers have been protesting in the same area since April 2, holding their demonstrations from 12 pm to 4 PM. However, on Sunday, the teachers concluded their protest earlier, concluding by 11 AM instead of the usual afternoon hours.

Security has been beefed up in Kathmandu to prevent any violence. Additional security personnel have been deployed at restricted areas such as Singha Durbar, the Parliament building, Maitighar Mandala, Baluwatar, and the President's office.

Meanwhile, the RPP has announced its intention to break the restrictions and hold a protest at Bijuli Bazar.
