At a press meet in Birgunj this morning, Rana said Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has been unable to fulfill the peoples’ expectations.
He said the Bhattarai-led government did a good job by monitoring service quality at eateries in Muglin but failed to do substantial works to control growing market prices in the country.
"Dr Bhattarai has garnered praises by flying economic class and riding on the Mustang vehicle but he has not been able to check a long queue of 49 Pajeros [supposedly held by each of his ministers] behind him," said Rana.
Rana also lashed out at the PM for appointing an extravagantly large team of advisors and for spending Rs. 27 lakhs for tea parties in a period of four months.
Talking about the State Restructuring Commission, he said that the commission only reflects interests of the three major parties and United Democratic Madhesi Front and added that such a commission would only bring about anarchy in the country.
On the federal model to be adopted in the new constitution the RPP chairman also said his party is in favor of making only two provinces.
