Saying a trend of going for trekking during holiday is increasing in Korea, the ambassador expressed the belief that the number of Korean tourists visiting Nepal would increase as there are many trekking areas in Nepal and there would be collaboration and cooperation with KOTTAN for the same.

Similarly, KTTOAN President Amar Bahadur Shahi said the training was imparted to staff of travels and trekking companies associated with KTTOAN on the matter of how to make arrangements of healthy food to Korean tourists and how to reduce possible problems that might occur during trekking.

"South Korea is one of the main source countries of tourists in Nepal. The training was necessary to provide standard service to Korean tourists visiting Nepal," he mentioned.
