KATHMANDU, August 11: Rastriya Janata Party Nepal(RJPN) has agreed to partake in the third-phase local level elections at the meeting with the two major ruling parties-Nepali Congress and CPN(Maoist Center) held today at the capital city.
The meeting was attended by top leaders of the three parties.
The decision of the RJPN to accept the government’s request to participate in the local level elections comes amid sharp intraparty row over whether to partake in the third-phase local level elections.

The RJPN has agreed to participate in the local level elections on the condition that the government tables the constitution amendment bill under consideration at the legislature-parliament as soon as possible.
According to the RJPN presidium member Raj Kishor Yadav , the government will table the constitution amendment bill at the legislature-parliament on Sunday.
