KATHMANDU, March 18: The Rastriya Janata Party obstructed the parliamentary proceeding of the House of Representatives for the third time. The party has also demanded that the government publicize the report of the Girish Chandra Lal Commission on the Madhes protest.
Amid protest, speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara allowed Anil Jha, party's presidium member to speak. He in turn, expressed concerns over the government’s decision to ignore the party’s obstruction and its demands.

Jha said that the Girish Chandra Lal Commission’s report would help to resolve the Madhes and Tharuhat protests by identifying perpetrators from both sides – the government and the protestors. He said that the government was also trying to hide the truth.
“Unless the government publishes the report, we will continue to obstruct the parliament,” Jha said.
