Around 10,000 vehicles pass through the bridge on a daily basis. The repair has started by allowing one-way passage for vehicles and it is until the repair is complete, said the Road Division Office, Butwal.

Likewise, for vehicles heading to Butwal from east, a diversion road has been constructed.

Blacktopping the surface of the bridge is going on and repair of the bridge will be complete within five days, said the division office chief Megha Raj Marasini. The estimated cost of the project is approximately Rs 3.5 million. RSS
