KATHMANDU, July 24: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday said that the government’s recommendation to President for removal of constitutional hurdles for formation of a new government was unnecessary.
Speaking at the parliament during discussions over the no-confidence motion, Deuba said that his party, however, doesn’t object the government’s move.
Madhes parties suggest removing constitutional difficulties
Earlier today, a cabinet meeting had had recommended to President Bidya Devi Bhandari to invoke Article 305 of Nepal’s constitution to remove constitutional hurdles for the formation of a new government.
He also said that the nationality won't be in danger if the relation with the neighbors is good.
"Our national security not is in danger because of less number of armies" he said," It’s because of our diplomacy.”
Indicating to the Prime Minister, Deuba urged not to raise fingers over other's patriotism.
He also expressed his anger over the government for distributing the money that was received from domestic tax payers and foreign donors, randomly.
