CHITWAN, Feb 5: CPN (Maoist Center) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the religion helps keep people and society decent and calm.
While addressing a religious programme organised by Galeshwar Ashram, Devghat, chair Dahal, also former Prime Minister, said that the religion further helps give up evil deeds. "Positive vibes lead the society towards creativity while negative vibe towards destruction', said Dahal.

He called for developing the 'Devght dham', a religious place as an international level religious and cultural site.
On the occasion, former PM Dahal also laid foundation stone for the construction of a Sanskrit school in the premises.
Galeshwar Ashram Peethadheesh Atamananda Giri, CPN (MC) leader Narayan Dahal, Devghat Area Development Trust chair Tanka Nath Poudel among others had also addressed the programme.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday had inaugurated Dhanadhanyachal Birat Gyan Mahayagya organised by the Galeshwar Ashram.
The Mahayagya will run until February 14.
