APF’s team manager Bijay KC said that the match against Reed Model will be a matter of prestige. “We have very slim chance of defending the title as producing victory over Reed wont be sufficient to become the champion. We will also have to depend on the result of the match between Reed Model and New Diamond,” said KC.

“As we are going to face Indian teams in the upcoming Indo-Nepal Volleyball Tournament in Nepalgunj, winning against Reed Model studded with Indian players will be a big boost for us,” added KC.

Reed Model had climbed at the top of the points table registering two victories on Friday as it overcame the challenge of host Dhorpatan Training Center and Western Region. Reed Model had edged past host team Dhorpatan 25-8, 25-12, 25-7 while Western Region was defeated in the straight sets of 25-14, 25-12, 25-8.
