Real estate fair kicks off in capital

KATHMANDU, May 2: The third ´Real Estate Fair´ has begun at the exhibition hall of Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from today.



The Nepal Real Estate and Housing Development Association is the organiser of the four-day fair. [break]



House plots and houses worth Rs. 1.8 million to Rs. 7.5 million will be sold in the fair, it is learnt.



Similarly, different information which should be known while buying house plots and houses including property clinic, environment-friendly house construction and earthquake resistant technology would be given in the fair.



Inaugurating the fair, Minister for Physical Infrastructure, Transport and Urban Development, Chhabiraj Panta, expressed the belief that the fair would create a positive environment in extending systematic housing.



Minister Panta said that the government will collaborate with entrepreneurs to resolve different problems seen in the sector.



Chairman of the Association, Iksha Raj Tamang, said that now consumers are much attracted towards the sector.
