Emerging Nepali rapper Samir Ghising aka Vten burst with anger on the stage, after stone was thrown at him in a musical concert in the 20th Pokhara Street Festival. The organizing team had to escort him out of the stage.

After repressing his anger, Vten emerged back on stage and addressed the crowd. Breaking down in tears, he addressed, “I have no comments to make. I won’t file a case against the person. We have all gathered to enjoy music tonight. So let’s start afresh.”

In support of Vten, fans are expressing their outrage against the incident on various social media platforms. Abshishek S Mishra, the front man of ASM band is one of them. “Someone turns up at your work and throws a stone at your face. What do you do? Pathetic, making a young man who is pursuing his dreams break down in tears,” Mishra posted on his official Facebook account.

With soulful music and meaningful lyrics, Vten is garnering appreciation from the new generation of Nepali music lovers. ‘Katha’, ‘Haalkhabar’, ‘Simsime Pani’, ‘Churot’ are some of his hit tracks.
