HULL, Sept 17: Alexis Sanchez scored two goals and missed out on a hat trick by having a penalty saved as Arsenal won 4-1 at 10-man Hull in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The Chile forward rescued a point for Arsenal in the Champions League in midweek with a late equalizer at Paris Saint-Germain, and was back on the scoresheet with goals in each half at KCOM Stadium.

Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead in the 17th minute by deflecting Alex Iwobi's shot into the net, before seeing his penalty turned aside by Eldin Jakupovic after Jake Livermore handled in the area in the 40th. That earned Livermore a red card because of a second booking.
After Theo Walcott made it 2-0 in the 55th, Hull threatened an unlikely comeback when Robert Snodgrass converted a penalty in the 79th. However, Sanchez restored Arsenal's two-goal lead before Granit Xhaka came off the bench to score the visitors' fourth goal.
It was Arsenal's third straight win after opening the season with just one point from its first two games.
