Accusing the government of not creating a conducive environment for the talks, the armed group said the talks were on the brink of collapse.
Rajib Jha, coordinator of the talks team for the armed group, said during a press conference on Friday that his group is waiting for another round of talks with the government to sign a ceasefire code of conduct.
Jha accused the government of not implementing the commitment it made during the first round of talks held in Janakpur last month.
Addressing a press conference organized in Janakpur to make the party’s future policy public, Jha also announced that his party would hold two mass meetings in Malangawa, Sarlahi district next week.
