KATHMANDU, Oct 13: Nepal is currently experiencing a general effect of the low pressure system around Uttar Pradesh in India.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), partial to moderate showers are currently prevailing across the country. A couple of places in Madhesh Province and Sudurpaschim Province are receiving light rainfall.
Country to see general to partial rainfall today
Today afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the states. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Province 1 and Bagmati Province and in a couple of other places in the rest of the province.
Similarly, there will be partial to normal rain in Province 1, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province during the night time. Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely at a few places in Province 1 and Bagmati Province and at a few places in Gandaki Province, according to the MFD.
