Park officials had tied the radio collar on Dhurbe´s neck to monitor its activities regularly. As per the latest record of the radio collar, Dhurbe is in a weak and frail condition.

The park expects that the elephant is getting weak and frail due to the impact of the bullet fired by army personnel two months ago to bring it under control.

Condition of Dhurbe has not been ascertained yet though it was known to be under the surveillance of the Park officials until December 30.The elephant had on December 15 killed a Bote couple.
