QFX Cinemas, one of the most preferred cinema theater chains in the country, launched the newest addition to its range of multiplexes on Thursday. 


According to the press statement released by QFX, the newly built QFX Cinemas at Chhaya Center in Thamel, Kathmandu has Dolby ATMOS sound technology in one of the screens that enhances sound quality in greater detail, and creates a fuller more immersive experience to the audience. “QFX Chhaya offers its viewers and patrons a cinematic exhibition worth experiencing.”

With the launch of this three-screen theater, the total screen count of QFX Cinemas in Nepal rises to 18. During the opening event, Nakim Uddin, chairman of Chhaya Cinemas said, “Since the movie going culture around Kathmandu has become increasingly popular, there has been an incline in demand for cinema theaters with top notch amenities and services. By bringing QFX Cinemas to Thamel, we want to meet the expectations of an elevated movie-going experience.” 


Roshan Adiga, CEO of TeamQuest (the company that manages QFX Cinemas) said, “As the most happening spot for tourists and young adults, Thamel was the preferred area for QFX Cinemas to explore and introduce its newest theater. With this multiplex, QFX Cinemas plans to extend its reach to a greater audience and offer the best-in-class cinematic experience to a wider range of people.”
