KATHMANDU, April 24: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at Soaltee Hotel on Wednesday morning.
After the bilateral meeting between Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, a total of six memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and a bilateral cooperation agreement have been signed between Nepal and Qatar.

According to Rupak Sapkota, foreign affairs advisor to the Prime Minister, an agreement has been reached between the two countries for cooperation between the government news agencies, the Offices of the Attorney General of the two countries and cooperation in organizing diplomatic training and studies, education, art and cultural exchange, and sports.
Similarly, two agreements have been signed between the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI).
Prime Minister Dahal will host a luncheon for King Thani at The Dwarika’s Hotel. The Qatari King is expected to depart later in the afternoon. Earlier on Tuesday, he had a meeting with President Ram Chandra Paudel, who hosted a dinner to welcome him.
