Citing COVID-19 infection among its staffers, PCS has postponed exams scheduled for October 31 onwards

KATHMANDU, Oct 19: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has once again postponed the scheduled examinations of civil service, security bodies and other organized institutions amid the heightened fears of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

All the exams scheduled to be held October 31 onwards have been postponed until further notice, said the PSC.

Issuing a notice on Monday, the examination department of the commission stated that the exams have been put off until further notice as some staff members of the department contracted the virus. “Mobilizing the human resource for administering the examinations has been challenging as all departments related to examinations are to be shut down,” reads the notice.

Citing COVID-19, the PSC has already postponed the scheduled examinations several times since March this year.
