Agitators riled by the death of two protesters in police action last night, vandalized the bridge using homemade weapons, according to Armed Police Force SP Janak Bohara.
“Railings on both sides of the bridge have been vandalized,” he said, “One-way traffic can be operated.”
Bohara said security personnel have taken control over the bridge and cops in large numbers have been deployed in adjoining areas.
