KATHMANDU, Oct 28: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s health condition is improving, the PM’s secretariat said on Sunday.
Oli, who is also the chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party, has been suffering from seasonal fever and common cold. “The prime minister has been taking rest for the past two days avoiding his day-to-day meetings as advised by the doctors,” Press Advisor to Prime Minister, Kundan Aryal, said in a press statement.
PM’s condition stable and improving: Hospital
Oil is joining the Cabinet meeting being held at 3 pm today at the prime minister’s official residence Baluwatar, the statement said adding that the prime minister will attend public functions once he is fully recovered from the illness. It is learnt that the doctors have advised the prime minister to take rest at least for the next three days and avoid public engagements.
Prime Minister Oli failed to attend the tea reception hosted by his party yesterday due to illness.
