KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to address the nation on Monday afternoon, one of his aides said.
Surya Thapa, the prime minister's press advisor, said that Oli will address the nation at 3 pm. Through a televised address, Oli will try to justify the dissolution of the House of Representatives and announcement of mid-term elections.

In an unprecedented move, the Oli-led Cabinet decided to dissolve parliament and announce mid-term elections and recommend the same to President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
President Bhandari announced April 30 for the first phase and May 10 for the second phase of the mid-term elections.
