Prime Minister Oli reaches Beijing

The delegation led by PM Oli reached Beijing Capital International Airport at 6 pm (China standard time) Monday at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang.

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reached Beijing, China on a four-day official visit.


According to Himalaya Airlines, the delegation led by PM Oli reached Beijing Capital International Airport at 6 pm (China standard time) Monday at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang.

PM Oli's delegation flew on a special chartered flight of Himalaya Airlines at 11 am on Monday morning. The PM’s delegation includes 46 members from the government sector and 32 from the private sector, making a total of 78 participants.


Oli’s Chinese counterpart Qiang is scheduled to welcome PM Oli on December 3. The meeting will be followed by bilateral talks and a signing ceremony.


On the same day, PM Oli will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping. He will also meet the chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, Zhao Leji.


PM Oli is scheduled to return home on December 5 at 2:30 pm.
