Inaugurating a new building of Bajura Campus in Martadi, the district headquarters of Bajura district, the president said it is difficult to see development without lasting peace and effective law and order situation in the country. [break]
President Dr Yadav said that people from all ethnic, religious and linguistic backgrounds should identify themselves as Nepalis first. He said that the priority of Nepali people now is peace and new constitution.
President Yadav also asked political parties to resolve the protracted political deadlock through consensus.
Speaking about the natural resources of Bajura district, the president said that proper utilization of the resources could help uplift Bajura´s economic status.
Dr Yadav also met the local people and took stock of their problems before flying back to Kathmandu on Sunday.
