KATHMANDU, Sept 23: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has expressed concerns over the lack of progress in the ongoing peace and constitution writing processes.

Talking to family members of conflict-hit journalists at his official residence in Shital Niwas Friday morning, Yadav said political parties have engaged themselves in power struggle, brushing aside the more important tasks of peace and constitution. [break]

On the occasion, President Yadav called on all political parties to act responsibly towards protecting the achievements the country has made so far through various democratic movements in the past.
