KATHMANDU, Jan 12: President Ram Chandra Paudel has drawn the attention of the top leaders of the three major political parties to work together to strengthen the democratic system by resolving the pressing issues faced by the country.
President Paudel invited Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, chairman of the main opposition party CPN-UML’s KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba to Sheetal Niwas on Friday and drew their attention to the crucial issues of the country regarding the implementation of federalism, good governance and reforms in universities, according to Kiran Pokharel, the president's press adviser.

According to Pokharel, President Paudel drew the attention of the leaders to make laws by collaborating with each other in order to implement federalism, and to establish good governance and to ensure justice to the people.
Press Adviser Pokharel also said that Paudel drew the leaders’ attention to start the university reform campaign by appointing talented professors as the position of vice chancellor is lying vacant in Tribhuvan University (TU). It has been learnt that the leaders responded positively to President Paudel’s concerns.
