President sacks Province 2 Governor

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday dismissed the Governor of Province 2, Tilak Pariyar.

According to Jagannath Panta, spokesperson for the President’s Office, Governor Pariyar was relieved of his duty by the president as per the Article 165 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal at the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
