Preparation for second round local election in final phase in Siraha

LAHAN, June 12: Preparation for the second round of local-level election scheduled for June 28 is in final stage in Siraha district, according to the District Election Office, Siraha.

LAHAN, June 12: Preparation for the second round of local-level election scheduled for June 28 is in final stage in Siraha district, according to the District Election Office, Siraha. 


Chief of District Election Office, Siraha, Indra Yadav, said that all materials required for election including ballot papers, swastika stamp, ballot boxes, voters' identity card and voters' name list have already been brought to the district and were being packaged.

Yadav said, "All materials would be send to voting centres after packing." 


Similarly, 426 voter education cadres in the district have been deployed to make voters known about different issues related to election including the correct way to put the swastika mark on the election symbol, to fold the ballot papers after putting swastika stamp, added Chief Yaddav. 


Yadav said that polling officers and assistant polling officers would be deployed in the voting centre after imparting training to them soon after receiving their name list. RSS
