DOTI, April 26: A pregnant woman from Jorayal Rural Municipality-1, Doti, died after falling off a cliff.
Police said that 21-year-old Anita Malla died after falling off a cliff while collecting fodder for her cattle in the forest.

She had gone to the forest about two kilometers from her house to get fodder for her cattle on Tuesday morning. Her father-in-law Prem Bahadur Malla said Anita was found dead near a ridge about 400 meters below where she had gone to collect grass. They went looking for Anita after she did not return for lunch.
Durgadatta Ojha, chairman of Jorayal Rural Municipality, said that the body had been removed from the ridge with the help of police, people’s representatives and local residents. Her body has been sent for a postmortem.
