Pradhan-led NOC to celebrate Olympic Day

KATHMANDU, June 14: The Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) recognized by the International Olympic Committee has announced that it will mark the Olympic Day with a nine-day celebration. [break]



According to the NOC led by Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan, 23 different events will be organized during the nine-day long celebration starting June 15. IOC celebrates Olympic Day on June 23, the anniversary of the beginning of modern day Olympics. According to NOC, a special event will be organized at the Jawalakhel Ground on June 23.
