KATHMANDU, June 22: An unknown Zoom application user played a porn video during a virtual meeting organized by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) on Monday afternoon.
The NTB called for a virtual meeting which was presided over by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA), Yogesh Bhattarai.

During the meeting, a user going by the name ‘Harris’ took control of the video display and played an obscene video just after Minister Bhattarai started to speak. Bhattarai was forced to stop his speech after the incident.
The obscene video lasted for about one minute, according to participants. Secretary at the MoCTCA Kedar Bahadur Adhikari and high-ranking officials were participating in the virtual conference when the incident took place.
At least 200 participants including government officials, tourism entrepreneurs and journalists were taking part in the virtual meeting which was convened to discuss the latest situation of the tourism industry which has been adversly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
MoCTCA has formed a panel to probe the incident, according to ministry officials.
