Talking to mediapersons at Biratnagar Airport on Monday, he clarified that no one had the right to launch unlawful activities in the name of protest adding, however, that all had the right to peaceful protests.
Basnet said that the government would not tolerate unlawful activities in the name of protests. He further said that protest of the agitating Tarai-parties had no relevance as their genuine issues were already addressed through constitution amendment.
Talkning to meadia persons at the same airport, Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai who is also the government's spokesperson emphasized on all party unity for the enforcement of the constitution and effective operation of reconstruction projects.
He also claimed that the High Level Political Committee will soon get full shape and will resolve the misunderstanding seen in province delineation issues.
He urged Madhes-centric parties not to go for protest as their demands would be resolved through dialogue adding that the government was serious and flexible to resolve the issues through talks. RSS
