Police intercept four girls fleeing their homes

GULMI, Nov 29: The local authorities rescued four girls including a teenager who fled from their homes to find work. 



The District Police Office, Gulmi acted on a special tip off to arrest the four girls from Jogithum of Resunga Municipality – 4. The girls were allegedly headed to Butwal. 



The police intercepted a passenger bus (Lu 1 Kha 8855) based on an information and found the girls, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mahendra Nepal, of District Police Office, Gulmi. 



The girls have been identified as Sunita Nepali, 12, Bima Nepali, 14, Rita Nepali, 16, from Sirseni VDC – 3 and Laxmi Nepali, 12, of Sirseni VDC – 2. They have been handed over to their family members after necessary interrogation. The girls told the police that they decided to leave their homes and flee to Butwal to find work. RSS
