Police arrest 10 Bangladeshi nationals for overstaying visas in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, April 8: The police have arrested 10 Bangladeshi nationals who were staying illegally (overstaying) even after the expiry of their visas.

KATHMANDU, April 8: The police have arrested 10 Bangladeshi nationals who were staying illegally (overstaying) even after the expiry of their visas.


A team from the Kathmandu Valley Police Office arrested them from the Sorakhutte area in the capital.

Those arrested are Anisur Rehman, Abdullah, Imamul Hussain, Hafizur Rehman, Sojib Hussain, Shaiful Islam, Billal Hussain, Salim, Nasir Uddin and Asin Khan.


Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police at the  police office, Rabindra Regmi said that all those arrested have been sent to the Department of Immigration for action.


The immigration office will proceed with the process of their repatriation, it is learnt.
