Pokhara- Jomsom direct jeep service begins

MUSTANG, Dec 15: The direct Pokhara-Beni-Jomsom jeep service has come into operation from Wednesday. 


The Muktinath Darshan Pvt Ltd has launched the direct service with a total investment of Rs 90 million with 27 jeeps ready to ply the road.

Former parliamentarian Chandra Bahadur Gurung and Sipradi Trading's General-Manager Pravin Khatiwada inaugurated the service. 


Two jeeps from Jomsom to Pokhara and five jeeps from Pokhara to Jomsom were flagged off on the inaugural day, shared Muktinath Darshan Pvt Ltd's Chair Mahendra Thakali. 


The Pokhara-Beni-Jomsom direct jeep service is launched with a view of facilitating the transportation services for the public and tourists alike. 


Each jeep could accommodate upto nine passengers and the fair to and from Pokhara-Jomsom is price at Rs 690 per passenger. RSS
