He reiterated that any attempt to topple his government would push the country toward disintegration and its existence would come to an end. “The circumstances are not there for the emergence of a new leadership and a new political party in the country even if we make a mistake,” he said.
The prime minister also pledged to take the pro-people programs to the people’s doorsteps soon and reduce load-shedding within a month. Referring to the party’s unification with the CPN (Unity Center-Masal), Dahal said, “Now there will be only one communist party in Nepal and all the others will collapse.”
