PM Oli says preparations are underway to procure 4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

KATHMANDU, June 17: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said preparations are underway to bring four million doses of vaccines against COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, June 17: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said preparations are underway to bring in four million doses of vaccines against COVID-19. 


At a meeting of the COVID-19 Management Directorate Committee held in Baluwatar on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli said that vaccination was the most important and essential element for COVID control and that preparations were being made to bring 4 million doses of vaccine.

He also said that the shortage of vaccines is gradually being resolved as initiatives to procure more vaccines are being taken with other countries. Stating that COVID-19 is not the responsibility of just one body, the Prime Minister also directed all ministries and agencies to work in a coordinated manner.
