DHULIKHEL, Aug 30: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has launched the 'Hydrogen Car' and refueling system which was introduced for the first time in Nepal by Kathmandu University (KU) located in Dhulikhel, Kavre.
Before the 29th convocation of the KU, the ‘Hydrogen Car’ and refueling system was launched on Friday.
‘Green hydrogen laws needed’
The ‘Hydrogen Car’ made in Korea by the Hyundai Company has been purchased for USD 33,000 with the help of Nepal Oil Corporation and brought to Nepal by the KU.
PM Oli said that the use of hydrogen will reduce carbon emissions and help in reducing pollution.
