PM Oli in Doha

KATHMANDU, June 9: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reached Doha, the capital of Qatar, on the way to Geneva of Switzerland. The PM is going to Geneva in connection with his visit to European countries.

KATHMANDU, June 9: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reached Doha, the capital of Qatar, on the way to Geneva of Switzerland. The PM is going to Geneva in connection with his visit to European countries.


Upon arrival at the Hamad International Airport in Doha, PM Oli and his entourage was welcomed by officials at the Embassy of Nepal in Doha, including the Charge d' Affaires Laxman Khanal.

PM Oli is accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya. The Prime Minister will leave for Geneva from Doha this morning in connection with participating in the centennial celebration function of International Labour Organization (ILO) taking place in Geneva.


The PM is scheduled to pay official visit to Britain and France after attending the ILO centenary function in Geneva.


Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali; Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista; the chief advisor to the Prime Minister, Bishnu Prasad Rimal; PM's foreign affairs advisor Dr Rajan Bhattarai and press advisor Dr Kundan Aryal as well as lawmakers Bimal Prasad Sribastav and Binda Pandey are also in the PM's entourage.
