KATHMANDU, April 4: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.
According to Prime Minister Oli's Secretariat, the meeting will take place in Thailand at around 4 pm. The two leaders will meet at the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok.
PM Oli is in Bangkok to address the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC). Indian PM Modi has also reached Bangkok to address the summit.

On Friday, the heads of government from BIMSTEC member countries are scheduled to address the summit.
The first agenda item of the summit will be the signing of the ‘BIMSTEC Maritime Transport Cooperation.’ After the welcome address by the host country's Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the agenda will be presented.
After the welcome address, the Prime Ministers (or head of delegations) from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Sri Lanka will deliver their speeches.
Following the speeches, the agendas will be approved, and the host country's Prime Minister, Shinawatra, will hold a press conference.
Prime Minister Oli is participating in the BIMSTEC summit after completing his official visit to Thailand. After the BIMSTEC summit, Prime Minister Oli will hold a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Modi.
Later in the evening, Prime Minister Oli will attend a welcome ceremony organized by the Nepali Embassy in Thailand.
