SYANGJA, Oct 6: Central Member of Nepali Congress Dhan Raj Gurung has accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of following in former Chief Minister of Bihar State of India Lalu Yadav’s footsteps.
Inaugurating the eight district convention of Nepal Press Union, Syangja Chapter on Saturday, leader Gurung said, “There is no difference between the Oli administration and the administration led by then Chief Minister Lalu Yadav in Bihar State of India.”
Gurung also came down heavily on the government saying that it is being led by not two-thirds majority but rather by political mafia.
“The country has been mired into corruption, injustice and autocracy, leaving democracy and national independence at jeopardy,” said Gurung.

Gurung also accused the government of protecting secessionist CK Raut and the culprit involved in the Nirmala rape and murder case exactly in the way the then Panchayat regime did to Namita-Sumita scam.
“The government is directing the police to hide the evidences of Nirmala case rather than becoming accountable to the victim.”
