KATHMANDU, May 17: Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has called for a single-party majority government led by the UML, arguing that the current coalition has failed to deliver the expected pace of development and good governance.
Speaking at a program organized in the capital on Saturday, Oli expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of the ruling coalition. “Development work has not gained the desired momentum under the current arrangement,” he said. “To ensure rapid development and good governance, a UML majority is essential.”
Where there is government, there is corruption!

Oli argued that only a UML-led majority government could effectively drive the country forward. “If we want to save this country from decline, UML leadership is necessary to prevent economic deterioration and political instability,” he stated.
He further added, “UML’s involvement can help prevent further decline, but it is difficult to make real progress without full leadership. A government led by UML can not only slow down the decline but also steer the country steadily forward.”
Reiterating the need for a stable, single-party government, Oli said, “With a UML majority, we can pursue our policies without interruption and move the country ahead on the path of development and good governance.”
